Being sent to London for work can't be such a bad thing at all. Especially when you're invited to come and have a look at the new SS2012 collection of River Island in their pink painted showroom just off Oxford Street and you have the rest of the day for shopping.
This uncommon red "black cab" brought us from the hotel straight into the indoor tropical paradise where I together with two other Amsterdam based fashion journalists were welcomed with a even sweeter drink than the collection seemed to be. Nice tip for with New Years Eve: Cranberry syrup in your champagne! Since champagne isn't my favorite anyway, this makes it a bit more fun drinking it. For a moment it felt like high summer and I wanted to share this extremely sweet moment with you since we all can use a little ray of sunlight to slide into the wintertime that feels as if it had never gone away.
Polished pastels, tribals, the colorful part of the'80: next season seems to become one hell of a party. It was a worm, nice and inspiring, and I could easily go with the motto: DON'T BE A SQUARE! Perhaps one to share?!
